The internationalization as a recipe against economic crisis
No matter how many times we have heard in the news the difficulties that big companies deal with in times of economic crisis, small and medium-sized companies like Adminex represent 99 % of any European country’s economy and they are also suffering the economic crisis.
Adminex has done correctly all its economic duties in times of prosperity, this is the reason why Adminex is passing through the economic crisis, and also this contributes to achieve certain economic tools to deal with economic crisis. Like examples of economic duties we could consider: an open mind for new markets, a forecast in investment in training as well as investment in technology.
Nevertheless, Adminex also admits that changes have had to be done mostly in the area of services provided to its clients. "In times of economic crisis we have had to reinvent our business in order to keep our clients and to adapt their services to their needs and to compensate imbalances with new clients ". Also, we have had to reorganize our clients’ work team, according to their new needs, which means a new rethinking in terms of marketing.
Other type of economic tool that Adminex has used not to sink together with the economic crisis has been the process of internationalization that the company has carried out. Adminex has been opening offices in different cities of the European market reaching 6 offices up to now - Barcelona, Madrid, Portugal, Germany, Romania and Poland – and this means possibilities in new and different markets. By the time economic crisis arises, companies can pass through it with its business activities in these other new markets.
Recognising how important is the internationalization for companies as well as the attitude to adapt to different needs of a market has made Adminex invests in many resources in training its staff. The training that Adminex's staff receives is mostly in learning languages according to the needs of its business market but also in specialization in different areas and services. The widest vision that internationalization gives us is the fact that it helps our workers to have a positive wider vision of the reality we live in.
Though is clear that Adminex has done correctly its economic duties to go through the bad patch in the currently economic crisis, it does not mean that it will not be mandatory to carry out strategies in the future to improve possible weaknesses that could be observed in the company´s financial situation later on, we have to learn of what the economic crisis has left us. In this point, Adminex believes that it is very important to transmit to its clients the philosophy of the need of internationalization of the companies and to address to other markets; this means that companies must be in a dynamic status and reinvent themselves according to the needs of the market in different moments.
At the time of dealing with clients, it sets up the Management figure to transmit a positive and realistic attitude and keep communication between workers to create new strategies at the moment of dealing with in economic crisis times. It means that management must be a role model of leadership and strength to face difficult situations.
As a conclusion, companies should not remain in a static status in times of economic crisis but they should learn from previous experiences, to go through obstacles and to go out of them in a more reinforced situation.
